Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings to play golf will be accepted up to five days in advance. Bookings must be confirmed by credit card or greens fee package number. Cancellation of a booking will be accepted before 12 noon on the day prior to play.

Weather and Rain Checks

Our maritime climate means that we can expect mixed weather in Newfoundland. Golfers will be compensated with ‘rain checks’ when play must be halted due to lightening or to highly unexpected weather. The weather forecast from Environment Canada is displayed in the Pro shop. Only those conditions not anticipated in the forecast will be considered.

Soft Spikes

Both courses have a soft spikes policy.

Pace of Play

An average of 15 minutes per hole or better must be maintained on both courses for a total 2:15 / 4:30 for 9 / 18 holes.

Dress Code

Golf shirts with golf pants or golf shorts, or rain-wear as required. Jeans, jogging suits, tee shirts, and shorts normally associated with field sports are prohibited.

Junior Golf

Registration at the Clubhouse: June 15th and 22nd, from 12 noon to 3pm.
Cost: $250/student (taxes included)

The program begins on June 24th and ends on August 19th and 20th with the Club Championship, for a total of nine training sessions and three tournaments. Training sessions will be conducted by CPGA accredited instructor Rob Efford and by the Junior Captain Tom Badcock. Students will play Mondays through Fridays on Captain''s Hill by booking their tee times before noon. Some students will also get to play a round of golf at Admiral''s Green with area celebrities.

Handicap Cards

NLGA/CLGA cards are integral to membership in the Admiral''s Green / Captain''s Hill Golf Association and will be issued only under the auspices of that organization. Qualifying package holders may purchase their memberships for $30, which includes the card.
