Captain’s Hill is the cities first public golf course, and the original 9-hole course in Pippy Park. Named in recognition of the area’s seafaring history, Captain’s Hill is sited high above the city with magnificent vistas of the coastline, old St. John’s and the surrounding hills.
Captain’s Hill offers a great mix of unique holes with a Par of 35. The property was once home to the Halliday farm and the rolling terrain provides a great variety of lies and challenging and fun shots for all levels of players.
